Coptic Church of Sharm el-Shiekh

I was blessed today to visit with the Coptic Priest of this Church here in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. I invited him to our camp today for lunch and gave him a tour of the South Camp Chapel. We exchanged gifts and spent most of our time together discussing the need for the gospel to penetrate the hearts of people, both in Egypt and around the world. We also spoke about false converts, which appears to be a problem even in the Coptic Church. Even though I come from a Southern Baptist background and he from an Orthodox, we were unified by our belief in the Trinity and the desparate need for people to recieve Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!
He will return next week to speak at our South Camp Prayer Breakfast.
Inside the church, virtually every wall is painted. The pages and stories of the Bible come to life on the walls of this Church. From Genesis to Revelation a person can read the Bible from the artwork on the walls and ceiling.
It was amazing!
