Preaching Where Jesus Walked

On the morning of February 24th I had the honor of sharing several scriptures from God's Word while on a boat in the middle of the Sea of Galilee.
I shared the story of Jesus walking on water (John 6:16-21). But I also shared Matthew 7 since we were looking up at the Mount of Beatitudes. Verse 14 is one of the most profround scriptures in the entire Bible. "How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it." I simply felt led to share this scripture because Christ continually emphasized the difficulty of following Him. Salvation is by grace alone, but the Christian life is not easy because it is so radically different than how society lives. The Christian life calls a person to seek truth, to repent of sins, be fully submitted to Christ, and have a willingness to obey God's will and Word. This is uncommon in today's society.
How often do you come across a person living a life completely different than the rest of the world or living by the teachings of Jesus?
If you answered honestly, it's not all that often.
This might be why Jesus said "few will find it?"
