In John 10 Jesus claims that all who truly follow Him will hear His voice as their Good Shepherd. This is a soul searching question for all who call themselves a Christian. Do you hear the voice of Christ in your daily life? If you only know about Him, then you never will. But when you know Him intimately and relationally, then you will hear His voice and you will rejoice. Here is what Oswald Chambers wrote about whether or not Christ truly knows you.
"It is possible to know all about doctrine and still not know Jesus. A person's soul is in grave danger when the knowledge of doctrine surpasses Jesus, avoiding touch with Him. Do I have a personal history with Jesus Christ? The one true sign of discipleship is intimate oneness with Him, a knowledge of Jesus that nothing can shake."
I pray you will ask yourself this critical soul searching question....do you hear the voice of Christ?
