On Tuesday 171 Democratic Congressman and 2 Republicans voted to allow atheist chaplains in the military. Fortunately the majority voted no and it didn't pass. This is especially concerning when there are only 200 Democratic congressman in congress. If anyone is from Colorado or New Jersey please vote these men out of office, Rep. Jared Polis (D-Colo.) and Rep. Robert Andrews (D-N.J.). Both of these men proposed failed amendments to the DOD's spending bill to allow atheists to serve as chaplains.
Rep. John Fleming (R) from Louisiana who proposed the amendment said this, "In the final analysis, I believe that an atheist chaplain would be the last person in the world that we would want a dying soldier who needs that last moment counseling in their life."
Open your eyes to the godlessness that is entering our government and thank God this amendment did not pass.
